Vehicle Inspections Wales is a web platform for A.W.J.Thomas, Independent Automotive Engineers Assessors. We have over 40 years experience within the Automotive Sector carrying out all types of vehicle, plant and machinery Inspections and Assessments for a wide range of clients, including Insurers, Legal, Corporate and Private clients including reports for Court.

A.W.J.Thomas is a Member of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors (I.A.E.A), the I.M.I (professional register), the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and Society of Operations Engineers. Through the I.A.E.A he is affiliated to the F.I.E.A. He is an apprenticed technician, holding relevant industry qualifications as well as those already listed.

His experience includes having worked for two major Insurers, Eagle Star and latterly Zurich Insurance gaining a broad knowledge within the Insurance sector.

Inspections/Assessment of Cars, (Private and Fleet), Agricultural machinery, Caravans, Commercial vehicles (HGV/PSV) light and heavy, Horseboxes, Motorcycles, Plant and Machinery, adapted/converted vehicles, classic & vintage vehicles to list a few are undertaken.

Within the above categories, we deal with Accident Damage Inspections, mechanical defect/failure, fire damage, paint defects, post repair inspections and complaints to list a few specific areas.

Litigation, arbitration and mediation and as mentioned reports for Court are also undertaken.
